The Stone Roses have today announced three huge stadium shows in the UK for summer 2017 – and have tantalisingly left space for that much-anticipated Glastonbury headline slot.
The newly reformed and revitalised Manchester four-piece have announced gigs at the Belfast SSE Arena (13 June), Wembley Stadium (17 June) and Hampden Park, Glasgow (24 June).
Tickets for the three stadium shows go on sale this Friday (30 September) at 9.30pm.

Rumours of the announcement started circulating earlier today when the now synonymous images of lemons appeared at Wembley Stadium:

The more eagle-eyed Roses fans will notice that so far their gig dates for next summer leaves space for their long-rumoured Glastonbury headline slot. They will be playing at Hampden Park on the Saturday of Glastonbury, which leaves either Friday 23 June or Sunday 25 June completely free…
