Mod icon Paul Weller has revealed all about his upcoming 12th solo studio album – the follow-up to 2012 release Sonik Kicks and his singles collection More Modern Classics, which was released last year.

Weller’s new album is called Saturn’s Pattern, and is due for release in spring to coincide with the former Jam front-man’s UK tour – which kicks off on 5 March in Plymouth (see the full dates below).

Speaking in the latest issue of music magazine Uncut, Weller said of the album:

I think it’s one of the best things I’ve done. And it’s been a pleasure doing it. There’s been no headaches. I can’t compare it to any of my other albums. I think it’s different not just for me, but different from what else is around. It’s been pretty quick, really. We did a bit of work before the summer, then I took a break because I was out on the road. We started back in October. It’s taken us a couple of months, maybe.

Here’s the full tracklist for Saturn’s Pattern:

1. White Sky
2. Saturn’s Pattern
3. Going My Way
4. Long Time
5. Pick It Up
6. Phoenix
7. I’m Where I Should Be
8. In The Car
9. These City Streets
